Welcome Steve Cuccione: K–12 Education Consultant
We’re a bit late to share the news, but we’re so excited to share that Steve Cuccione has joined the IX Solutions team as our new K–12 Education Consultant!
Steve’s career spans over 40 years in the tech world, including more than three decades at IBM Canada—most recently as their K–12 Education Manager. Over the years, he’s worked with schools across the country to help plan, implement, and sustain the kind of technology that makes a real difference for students and staff alike.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Steve now splits his time between Lindell Beach in the summer and Coquitlam in the winter. He’s a BCIT grad with a diploma in Financial Management, and he’s completed countless professional development programs over the years—including a Client Executive program at Harvard Business School and certifications in AI and other emerging technologies.
At IX, Steve will be helping all of our clients (with some emphasis on the education sector) with things like:
Technology planning and roadmapping
IT integration and transformation
Staffing and skill development
Building long-term, sustainable tech strategies
What drew Steve to IX? “The startup energy and the team’s commitment to helping clients succeed,” he says. He’s especially excited about how AI is beginning to shape the future of education.
Outside of work, Steve’s an outdoors guy—he loves hiking, cycling, and kayaking—and has a knack for organizing unforgettable adventures. (Case in point: in 1977, he planned a grad trip for 65 students from three schools… with no chaperones!)
When asked what’s stuck with him most in his career, Steve says:
“Being honest, showing up for people, and staying committed to their success. That energy spreads—and it usually leads to better outcomes than anyone expected.”
We’re lucky to have Steve on the team, and we know our clients will feel the same.
Please feel free to say hello and connect with him directly on LinkedIn.
