Welcoming Ian Daniel, Project Manager

We’re excited to welcome Ian Daniel to the IX Solutions team as our newest Project Manager.

Raised in Edson, AB and now calling Calgary home, Ian brings experience spanning both technical and management roles, along with a practical, people-focused approach to helping clients define their needs and move their projects forward.

Turning Client Needs into Clear Plans

After beginning his post-secondary studies at the University of Alberta, Ian decided theoretical physics wasn’t the right fit and went on to earn his Computer Engineering Technologist Diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT).

He spent several years honing his skills at a national IT consulting firm before joining Pandell Technology Corporation, where he served as IT Manager for over 10 years.

As a Project Manager at IX, Ian will work closely with clients to help discover their needs and formalize a plan to achieve them—working alongside colleagues to ensure delivery remains structured, clear, and aligned to client goals.

What he enjoys most about his work is simple:

“I very much enjoy working with people. Helping them understand their needs and motivations—both personal and professional—and achieve their goals is what fulfills me.”

For Ian, strong outcomes begin with understanding what truly matters to the people involved. He values being part of a team working toward shared goals—where contributions are acknowledged and where people, including himself, have the opportunity to grow day to day.

Outside of work, Ian enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, scuba diving, and travelling the world with his wife. Exploring different cultures and seeking unique experiences has been a long-standing passion. Each country they visit offers a new perspective and a renewed appreciation for both other cultures and home.

Please join us in welcoming Ian to the IX Solutions team! You can connect with him on LinkedIn here.
