We’re still growing! IX Solutions is thrilled to welcome Trevor Lysyk to the team as a Senior Infrastructure Architect.
Trevor Lysyk joins our growing team in Calgary, where he completed his technical education at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Network Engineering Technology. After working as a Systems Administrator in a diverse range of industries including Finance, Telecommunications and Mining, Trevor ventured to grow his career by attaining a degree in management from the University of Phoenix.
Having worked at organizations of all sizes, ranging from boutique coffee grinders with just five employees up to the House of Commons in Ottawa, Trevor is most looking forward to joining the agile and responsive team at IX Solutions where he can really make an impact.
“Two major areas get me excited to go to work everyday – doing right by customers and mentoring both my fellow employees and my clients,” says Trevor.
“I enjoy developing an understanding of where an organization is going, diving into their strategy and figuring out the best fit for IT within all of that fabric. This results in customers for life.”
Trevor brings to the team an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft solutions and Cisco networking systems. His commitment to education throughout his career has earned him an impressive list of designations, including Microsoft certifications all the way back from his MCSE in Server 2003 up to his expert level Office 365 and Azure certifications. Trevor is also passionate about IT process, risk registering and change management and holds an ITIL certification (formerly known as Information Technology Infrastructure Library.)
In his free time, you can find Trevor getting his hands dirty by working on cars or exercising his green thumb. Along with his partner Joanna, he is the proud parent of four fur babies – Luna and Daisy (dogs) and Archie and Veronica (cats). An interesting fact about Trevor? He once wrote and did very well on his LSATs! Lucky for us, his passion for IT lead him to IX Solutions.
