Fresh into the industry, we’re thrilled to welcome Scott Moore as the newest member of the IX Solutions team!
Born and raised in Kelowna, BC, Scott spent the past decade mastering the hospitality industry in both back- and front-of-house management roles before deciding to pursue a career in IT. He’s recently achieved his diploma in infrastructure and computing technology at Okanagan College—a program that focuses on networking, telecommunications, systems administration and technical communication.
Scott cut his teeth in the industry in a support technician role with the Okanagan College’s IT Desktop Support team. It’s here that he provided the college’s students and staff with tech support, deploying new devices, offices and student computer labs.
As an IT consultant with IX Solutions, Scott will continue to learn and grow as he provides consultation and technical support for our client’s cloud and on-premises IT infrastructure. He’s most looking forward to growing his skillset and learning new ways to implement technology.
“I find joy in helping reduce the friction between people and their IT services and infrastructure,” says Scott. On the weekends, you can catch him in all sorts of gameplay, from video games to tabletop roleplaying adventures. Oh, did we mention he’s a hobbyist bartender?
