Keith Hind has joined IX Solutions as our Technical Director, IT Services. With over a decade of experience, most recently as a Senior Technical Lead for a Canadian IT solutions provider, Keith will be responsible for delivering technical solutions, projects and ongoing services to customers with his self-proclaimed “best-in-the-biz attitude” and friendly smile.
Born and raised in Kelowna, BC, Keith achieved a diploma in Network & Telecommunications Engineering from Okanagan College. His tenure has brought with it a wealth of technical certifications including the Palo Alto PCNSE, Aruba Certified Clearpass Professional (ACCP), Aruba Certified Design, Mobility, and Edge Associates (ACDA, ACMA, and ACEA), and several Cisco certifications.
At IX, Keith will collaborate with our team to enhance, define, and design our service offerings, while working with subject matter experts to ensure we’re consistently delivering great services and exceeding client expectations.
“What I’m most looking forward to in this new role is working with a dynamic, motivated team that is driving to push the boundaries of modern technology, and to do the right thing for our customers,” says Keith. “I especially love teaching and leading focused groups who are excited to learn."
In Keith’s free time, he loves to stay active outdoors. He’s an avid snowboarder and loves split boarding in Rogers Pass (before you Google it, “split boarding” is essentially backcountry snowboarding with avalanche gear).
In the summer, he enjoys backpacking and hiking with his wife. In fact, he recently hiked the Juan de Fuca trail on Vancouver Island and has plans to do a backpacking trip at Lake O’Hara in Yoho National Park, hike Rockwall Trail in Kootenay National Park, and hike the Sunshine-Egypt-Vista Lake Trail in Banff National Park.
